There are a lot of reasons why people write books but the only reasons that matter are the ones that matter to you. So the question you should be asking yourself is what do I have to gain by writing a book?
Some of the obvious reasons why people write is to:
  • Set yourself apart
  • Market yourself
  • Self expression
  • Tell your story
  • And so on…..
Did you know that writing can take your life to a new level. The opportunity to help, educate, inspire and inspire other people, multitudes of people almost immediately. Do any of that resonate with you?
A friend recently asked me why he should write a book. I asked him 2 questions:
  1. If you could change anybody’s life who would it be?
  2. How did you get where you are today.
“I would like to help people that are struggling with life decisions that don’t think they can overcome their struggles. When I was 54 years old I was forced to retire from my job which I was very good at and loved doing. I found myself doing odd jobs I was way over qualified for. Then one day being fed up with my situation I decided to start my own business. It started off small and today I have 35 employees. Life is good.”
Do you have a story of overcoming adversity? Do you have knowledge and experience that other people can benefit from?Do you have a story? Do you have knowledge and experience that could help, educate, inspire and empower people. Those are the reason I have for running a publishing business.
“You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.” Zig Ziglar
